The reason for this blog...

The reason I have decided to create a blog page is to keep my family and friends informed and updated with my travels and studies while in Rome. This way it is easier than e-mailing everyone individually and I can publish pictures when I have some to show. I'm very excited to be traveling to a foreign country, but I am also nervous. I will miss everyone back home, but I will try to keep in touch. I will soon be posting my address of where I will be living in Rome. I leave for Rome September 25th, so I still have quite some time here in Chicago and up in Lake Geneva. Stay tuned!
